Rua da Conceição in Lisbon, in the downtown area, called “Baixa”. This are was rebuilt with a modern layout after the 1755 earthquake. I’ve always loved the view from this spot, with the tall buildings casting the street in shadow and the curved building at the end illuminated.

Lisbon’s architectural diversity can’t be displayed on six photos, but I tried to convey a bit of the overall feeling of the mixture of the old and the new.

My comments:
1. Very good perspective, I love the fact that there are no distracting elements like cars or others;
2. Good PS work!
3. An almost perfect symmetry! Well done!
4. Again love the symmetry, especially in the shadowed area;
5. My favorite; you just gotta love this one!
6. A great shot…. how about trying on a Sunday morning at 8am? no traffic….
good job!
