When driving back to our campsite after the beach, I’ve found this Budah on the side of the road.

Back to Lisbon, just after parking the car to meet Pedro for an ice cream, I’ve spotted this street lamp and just felt right :)

Moscavide Train Station, empty and without movement… just staying still.

This is the detail of a traffic light, ordering you to stay still. :p

This week I was on vacations, so it was difficult to take photos as I wanted and when I wanted (you know women :p). I had some ideas, like using motion to demonstrate the stillness of something, but as you can see… it was just an idea.

  1. […] Nuno Correia’s image of a warning sign at a crosswalk does the best job of illustrating this week’s theme and is a fine example of subtle exposure. […]

  2. My comments:

    1. A very good (and still) shot. I like the fact that the framing is not the plain old centered object thing, works good.

    2. Good shot, only a bit too dark for me. Maybe playing with PS to get more life out of it.

    3. A good idea and nice shot but…. I think you’re missing a tripod there, don’t you think?

    4. A great shot! Good interpretation of the theme and very very well executed. It’s simple, it has color, it’s sharp and it works very good. I love this one!

    good work!
