“Kablooie!!” is one of my favorite Calvin & Hobbes onomatopoeia, evoking the power of a satisfying explosion. This is one of several “water volcanoes” in the Parque das Nações area in Lisbon. They erupt regularly during the day.

It’s amazing on how much batteries have evolved. I think we don’t notice it as much as we should become everything consumes more power than comparable items 20 years ago, but even so, times between recharges have increased a lot.

A bit late, but here are the very conceptual and diverse results of this week’s theme. Hope you enjoy them.

My comments:
1. Very nice and good timing!
2. Love this one and I imagine how hard it is to get one of these;
3. Nice shot but with a distractive light on the top right;
4. Very nice, love the low light scenario.
good work Pedro!
