“Kablooie!!” is one of my favorite Calvin & Hobbes onomatopoeia, evoking the power of a satisfying explosion.  This is one of several “water volcanoes” in the Parque das Nações area in Lisbon.  They erupt regularly during the day.

It’s amazing on how much batteries have evolved.  I think we don’t notice it as much as we should become everything consumes more power than comparable items 20 years ago, but even so, times between recharges have increased a lot.
