Broken Head…

You’re wondering why I’ve named it “Broken Head”? Ok, here goes the story behind the name, do you see the dent on top of the drill? The drill fell on my head :( and… I got my head broken :p… the dent on the drill was from my head… err… well… perhaps caused by hitting the floor, but my story of my head making a dent on the drill is by far the most interesting one… don’t you think? I used a fluorescent work lamp to “paint” the whole drill, even the white background results by directing the light straight to the camera.

Look… it floats! My trusty eBay led flashlight helped. Big drill… never felt on my head… and I hope never will! ;)

  1. My comments follow:

    1. Although it doesn’t look like a painted with light shot, it is very very good. Love it!

    2. Great control of light and very good sharpness. Excellent!

    3. I don’t particularly like the effect on top but it’s a good shot nonetheless.

    4. Great shot! To me this is your best painting with light shot. The right amount of light to bring out all the tiny details and contours.

    Nice work!
