Liquids - Nuno Correia
Disturbance
On this assignment I’ve started experimenting with high speed photos. This photo was taken at my kitchen sink with a blue card on the back, using the flash of my 400D as my only light source creating a light shadow on the background, creating an additional sense of multidimensionality.

Rainbow Kid
This one just happened, my son was playing at the fountain and while i was trying to avoid taking an accidental bath, I’ve managed to take this one, the refraction of water spray generated by my little devil.

Almost Liquid
I’ve made some ice in a Lego shaped manner and stared experimenting with a small led flashlight as my light source. On the background a black card, for the reflection under the ice a pyrex plate, on my left hand my remote trigger (homemade), on my right hand my ebay flashlight, on the end… this photo.

Warping Beer
This one was the result of an upcoming BBQ at home. Not having much time to take photos and with my helping children’s and their little swimming pool.

My comments:
1. Looks very good! I would like to know how the lighting was made…
2. This is a fun picture, well done;
3. I like the setting and the lighting, but I think it would result much better with more sharpness in the cubes, something like a killer sharp picture. what did you use as a background and lighting? And exposure info?
4. What a weird shaped bottle, eheh
