My father-in-law was painting some wooden boards, so I went upstairs to get my camera to catch the moment.

“Gare do Oriente” it’s a train station, subway station, taxi stop and bus stop, as you can guess a lot of people around. A very organic building.

We almost got arrested (Pedro and I) for this photo, well… they were rent a cops, but they don’t let us take any more pictures. No visible signs prohibiting people to take photos but the cherry on the top of the ckae was when the rent a cop said: “You cannot take photos, and even less with a tripod”… I wonder, do they fear a big camera with a tripod… if I was a terrorist I would try to be discrete… a tripod and a 400d… that’s not discrete at all! :p

I confess… at first I didn’t like this week assignment, but we have to do it anyway :p

Funny things happened, I’ve tried out Pedro new lens (24mm), I loved the lens flare, sweet! ;)

One Response to “Lines - Nuno Correia”

  1. My comments this week:

    1. Great idea and well done! It looks like you’re advertising paint or something…. eheheh

    2. Very powerful shot…. I understand you left the bottom in the picture intentionally, but I think leaving it out would make the lines stand out so much more…

    3. A weird thing you got there… it looks like a Startrek spaceship… very creative, I like it! Too much grey but I think the lights make up for it.

    4. Excellent shot! I love the sky, love the mixture of lines in different directions, even love the fact that the ground is dark with the rails shining… excellent!

    Nice work Nuno!
