The sculpture is admiring the painting, or maybe itself in the mirror. We are left but to admire them both.

The area near the Praça do Comércio in Lisbon is limited to bycicles and pedestrians on Sundays. I thought I’d have a walk and maybe catch some frames. Minor photoshop work enhancing the river’s reflections

Guarding the frame

ISO 200, 1/200s, f/7.1, 28mm
Republican Guard stands before the Palácio das Necessidades, head office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. But from some angles he’s guarding only a shut window. If only I could have a peek inside.

My thanks to the authors of photoassignment.net for their invitation and the possibility to show off some of my work. It was a challenge but I enjoyed it a lot.

My comments:
1. Superb!
2. In my opinion it’s a creative way to frame an otherwise less interesting frame;
3. Nice framing shot, well done;
4. This one I find to be a little too far away from the theme, although a good point of view of the guard and the window.
well done!
