frame of emergency
Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3
1/6 of a second - f/3.3 - ISO 200
The key in a fire hydrant within a building, I liked the way the round breakable window framed the key, and the strong red color.

Stuck in traffic, driving my mom’s Subaru with the sun roof open, I noticed that the overhead trees were framed by it.

shadow frame
Canon Digital Rebel XTi (EOS 400D) + Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Canon ST-E2 + Canon 420EX
1/200 of a second - f/3.2 - ISO 100
This photo was the only one this week with a more elaborate setup. This is Carolina standing behind our living room’s door, which has a translucent glass. I placed the 420EX behind her, facing back to give a very soft bounced light. The b&w effect is straight from the camera.

I tried to avoid the classic frame photos, taking a bit of creative liberty with the interpretation of the theme, trying to find “frames” in everyday life.

My comments:
1. Nice and creative. And good use of selective focus. I like it!
2. Who would have thought of this one? Cool…
3. Again very creative. good job.
4. I love this one!
good job.
