Framing - Nuno Pedrosa

Lil’Flowers

Lil’Flowers

Those little flowers are in Rita’s mother garden. They’re small, but shooting them alone, does not really show their size. I framed them with my hand to had some dimension and contrast to them.  ISO-100, 1/1000, F3.3, cropped.

I framed this little yellow flower with my hand. Later, I cropped most of the hand off (just in the photo!) to leave just an hint of a frame.  ISO-100, 1/800, F4.1, cropped

InsideWalls

Rita’s shadow, inside walls. I found the shadows on the beach and tried my silhouette, but it was too… round. Rita’s look a lot better.  ISO-100, 1/800, F3.3

I tried to catch the sunset, but it ran away little after I took the photos…  ISO-100, 1/640, F11, cropped and shadow lit.

Once again, my thanks to the guys in photo Assignement, for letting me participate.  As has always been the case, all photos were taken with a TZ3.

One Response to “Framing - Nuno Pedrosa”

  1. My comments:

    1. A nice picture…. but for me it isn’t quite within the framing theme.. maybe an alternative point of view :-)

    2. On this one the frame is more obvious… creative yes, but not quite there for me;

    3. A more interesting approach, a natural frame… I like it!

    4. Here I would have liked the shot better with just the sky…. obviously for a different theme.

    nice work Nuno!
