This is a very special scale, it was my fathers, used to weight gun powder from the time he had the gun shop. The background was made using a carbon crayon to paint a white piece of paper. Used PS to convert to B&W and the frame.

This one is from my external disk, actually Pedro borrowed me this external disk ;). Usually the usb plugs don’t have light.

The Zen garden

This is my zen garden, I’ve tried to recreate the design of China, and a sunset, but only managed to get the 12 o’clock time :).

This assignment just another good challenge made on my light box, playing with the gels on the flash, and different positions.

The best part was to have Pedro back in business.

Thank you Katy, once again, and again, for the patience.

One Response to “Design - Joao Rechena”

  1. 1. Cool design and cool shot; I like the colors and the even lighting.

    2. Excellent shot, I love it! It’s about perfect… the only slight thing to improve would be to get the right dish in focus with a greater depth of field.

    3. Good shot… this is definitely china design!

    4. From a photographic point of view I think this shot isn’t that good: the subject is not the main thing in the picture, everythin g is overexposed, the depth of field is too narrow…

    good work though!
