Cars - the photoassignment.net team
This our first group assignment. We’ll be posting more of these in the future, on a semi-regular base (depending on if our wives let us!
). In this one we cornered my wife’s car, a Toyota Aygo, in our garage. We did a little Strobist job on it. Hope you enjoy it.

First of all congrats for your first group assignment! Too bad I couldn’t join you but maybe next time. As for the results:
1. The setting was good but I do not like the darkened car. I would have much prefered the well lit and greatly focused magazine type of shot;
2. Lighting is ok and the angle is creative but I don’t like it, it somehow feels wrong… the part well lit is out of focus and the part well focused is out of light, doesn’t quite work for me;
3. An almost perfect shot, I do like the perspective and the detail, the only thing to improve would be to get the “A” totally in focus and maybe some of the trunk too… but great shot nonetheless.
