This photo blog was born out of the frustration with photo procrastination between three friends. The best way to improve at anything is to practice, a lot. So we made a pact - to complete a photographic assignment every week, no matter what, on everything and anything. This isn’t a competition - there are no judges, no scores. The goal is to become better photographers, and share ideas while we’re doing it.

Here are the rules:

1. There are two kinds of assignments: a weekly individual assignment, and a monthly group assignment.
2. Only photos taken after the assignments are announced are allowed - no previous images.
3. The assignments must be possible for the available conditions in each week/month.
4. Each photographer must submit at least one photo per weekly and monthly assignment.
5. The themes are open to creative interpretation, within the limits of humor and/or common sense.
6. Each assignment must include a small text explaining the inspiration and the techniques employed.  They can also include setup photos.
7. Everyone can participate as a guest photographer on the assignments. There’s no limit of photos submitted. Read the rules on how to submit photos for the assignment here.
8. The assignments will be chosen by each one of us in rotation.
9. The photos of each weekly assignment must be uploaded by noon of each Monday, and photos of monthly assignments must be uploaded by the last day of the month.
